During an exchange with people of foreign countries, we had a project called ; A stepping stone to an all-inclusive School. We made an interview with the headmaster (Mia Ingelaere) of the primary school of Lyceum in Ieper. We asked her some questions about accessibility of their school. Is the school adapted to people in a wheelchair?
No, not at all. There are stairs everywhere and no elevators... And in the future, we are not planning to adapt the building, there is just no money for it. But if someone has broken his leg, the teacher just carries him/she to the classroom.
